She’s got a ‘passion for fashion’. Eevee’s Erin Hushon discusses Cheryl Cole’s return to the X-Factor and debates her status as a style icon…

With the announcement last week that Cheryl Cole was to rejoin X Factor after leaving in 2010, I decided to have a look through Cheryl’s style choices and distinguish whether she truly is a style icon.
Cheryl Cole had a tough time following her break up husband (Chelsea’s Ashley Cole) and then being sacked from a dream X-Factor job in America. Fortunately for her fans, it appears she’s now come out the other side. Having won her job back on the British version of X Factor, the ex- Girls Aloud singer is said to be working on a  forth studio album.

Cole has been recognised within the fashion industry and has been referred to as a fashionista by the press. She has also graced covers of British Vogue, Elle and Harpers Bazaar, as well as becoming the face of L’oreal. She has been named best dressed by Glamour magazine in both 2009 and 2010 –  being awarded FHM sexiest women in the world in those same years.
During her initial stint on the British X-Factor, many press reports suggested some competition between herself and Australian singer, Dannii Minogue. In terms of who was best dressed on the show, most weeks Cheryl was the winner. With her style varying from day to day, along with her hair and make-up, she truly has a style for every occasion.

Now it seems that, once again, she will have us all talking about what she wears and where to get what she is wearing. There are only a few more months until we will see her on our screens, and hopefully less than a couple of weeks to see who she will be competing against in the style wars every week.
Do you think she is a good choice for an X Factor judge? She was pretty successful last time. At least she will give more glamour to the show than high waisted trouser Simon Cowell!
